Hospice Is About Living, Not Just Dying
Hospice is a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care for people facing a life-limiting illness. It's not about giving up; it's about living each day to its fullest with dignity, comfort, and the people you love around you.
Our mission is to empower patients and families by maintaining dignity, optimizing quality of life, and providing the physical, emotional, and spiritual care needed to live as comfortably as possible. We meet patients wherever they call home, whether a family home, long-term care facility, assisted living, or hospital.
Currently, only 1 in 3 people eligible for hospice services receive it, even though these services are fully covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurance. Thanks to our donors, we also provide care to anyone regardless of their ability to pay.
Everything Covered Under One Care Plan
We offer 24/7 care: medication changes, supplies, physician and nurse availability.

Does Choosing Hospice Mean Giving Up?
No. Hospice is about choosing comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Many patients and families report that starting hospice earlier allowed them to spend more meaningful time together, with less pain and fewer stressful hospital visits.
Can a Patient Leave Hospice if They Improve?
Yes. If a patient's condition improves or they choose to pursue curative treatment again, they can leave hospice at any time. Hospice is not a one-way door; it's a benefit that can be stopped and restarted as needs change.
Is Hospice Only for the Final Days of Life?
No. Medicare covers hospice for patients with a life expectancy of 6 months or less. Many families wish they had started sooner. Earlier enrollment means more time with a dedicated care team, better symptom control, and greater support for the whole family.
